Lloyd’s Community Funding grant

We’re delighted to announce that Riccall Tennis Club has successfully secured a grant from the Lloyd’s / Halifax Community Funding initiative. The proceeds will go a long way towards upgrading the tennis club’s floodlights, which have been out of action for some time.

A huge thanks goes to RTC member and Lloyd’s employee George Lintott for securing the grant for the club.

The committee is in the process of gathering quotes for LED light installations, with the potential added aim of reinstalling the defunct floodlights on court number three. We’ll keep you posted on progress both here on the website, and on our facebook page.

We hope to have the new lighting setup installed as soon as possible during this winter season. In the mean time, stay safe and see you on court soon!
